She gave birth to her daughter Violet just over a year ago.

But there was no sign of any post pregnancy lumps and bumps today as Christina Milian showed off her stunning figure on the beach in Miami.

The toned and attractive mother enjoyed a visit to the beach today with her adorable 14-month-old daughter Violet.

Wearing a black and white striped bikini, the 29-year-old carried little Violet into the ocean for a dip in the warm water.

The adorable baby was also dressed for their trip to the beach, wearing a red dress and cute white sun hat over her head to protect her from the sun.

At one point, Christina even put her blue sunglasses on her baby who struck a cheeky pose.

And the singer looked remarkably relaxed despite recent reports saying she is fighting for a larger share of her estranged husband's multi-million dollar estate.

The Drop It Low singer was married to music producer Darius 'The Dream' Nash for only ten months before he was caught cavorting with another woman and the couple separated at the end of last year.

They are now embroiled in a bitter divorce and custody battle over their daughter.

Christina is said to have been offered a hefty divorce settlement, including 10 percent of the music writer's publishing interest in Justin Bieber's worldwide smash-hit, Baby, which he co-wrote.

But The Dream, who filed for divorce seven days before the birth of their daughter last year, has denied there was any agreement.

A lawyer for Christina told website TMZ: 'Mr Nash filed for divorce. He wanted the divorce, not our client.

'She then agreed to resolve it peacefully and outside of the court.

'Now his lawyer is writing me saying there's no agreement when we made an agreement on the record.'

Initially the couple both denied The Dream had been unfaithful.

But when he was photographed getting cosy with a female assistant on the beach in the Caribbean, they were forced to admit their relationship was over.

'I've been to hell and back, but I survived,' Christina recently told Latina magazine.

'I tried to be someone I wasn’t because I wanted my marriage to work.

'But ultimately, if it’s not working, it’s not working.'

Before her marriage to The Dream, Christina dated Nick Cannon, who is currently married to Mariah Carey.

Christina and Nick met on the set of their film, Love Don't Cost a Thing, in 2003, and they dated for two and a half years.

She then accused the actor and presenter of cheating on her and ended her relationship in 2005.
