Madonna's 'stalker' Grzegorz Matlok charged with burglary of London home
A Polish man has been remanded in custody for the alleged burglary of Madonna's £10million London home after reportedly smashing through a window in the early hours.
Grzegorz Matlok, 29, appeared before Westminster Magistrates Court after he was charged yesterday, after being allegedly wrestled to the ground by the singer's bodyguards.
He was arrested on suspicion of burglary at around 5.30am on Saturday morning and taken to a West London police station.
The incident is sure to raise questions about Madonna's security arrangements, coming just six months after a man was found outside her New York apartment carrying two knives.

Matlok allegedly had to be wrestled to the ground by bodyguards on duty at the ten-bed Georgian townhouse, where security is state-of-the-art, after his weekend break-in.
The 29-year-old is of no fixed abode but was born in Poland.
Wearing glasses and a grey Nike polo shirt, he sat emotionless in the dock today as he followed proceedings through an interpreter.
The hearing was adjourned while psychiatric reports are prepared and Matlok was remanded in custody.
Madonna and her children Lourdes, 14, Rocco, 10, Mercy, 6, and David, 5, were all in the U.S. at the time of the incident.
The singer had taken her family to Michigan to pay their respects to her grandmother Elsie Mae Fortin who died last week.
