She may have hit 40, but Uma Thurman looked every inch the Hollywood starlet today.
Dressed in a pretty white crocheted summer dress and black leather biker jacket, The Pulp Fiction actress looked enviably fresh faced as she took a quick break from promoting her new film, The Ceremony.
The 40-year-old stars alongside up-and-coming actor, Michael Angarano, 23, in a romantic comedy about an older woman’s fling with a much younger guy.

And it would seem Uma had a thoroughly great time shooting the romantic movie with her younger co-star.
When asked whether age was a factor where men were concerned, Uma told MTV: ‘I have been cast opposite a lot of really handsome, charming young men. It's nice work when you can get it.
She added: ‘I've also worked with some of the world's most wonderful esteemed older men throughout my career, who were wonderful people to learn from and be with.’

Uma plays Zoe, a mature singleton who is seemingly too distracted by the life to settle down. That is, until she finally gets engaged, only for her toyboy ex to show up on the day of her wedding and declare his undying love for her.
The Ceremony isn’t Uma’s first experience of playing the controversial ‘older woman’ either.
The Kill Bill star recently admitted that she is fast becoming accustomed the ‘older woman’ label and is quite happy with it.

She told MTV: ‘I think the exploration of people relating in different generations is something that is really current. And it's fun.’
She also confessed that her 12-year-old daughter, who Uma she had during her marriage to actor, Ethan Hawke, has recently commented on the trend in roles that her mother is playing.
Uma joked: ‘My daughter said, 'Mommy, why are you being cast with all these young men?' I said, 'Well, I'm not doing it in life'.'
She playfully added: ‘Anyway, I don't know. I think it's cool.’
