Danny Cipriani starts dating Miss Australia Jesinta Campbell

 

Kelly Brook is constantly voted one of the world's most beautiful women, so her ex-boyfriend Danny Cipriani was always going to have trouble finding someone to match up to his former love.

But the Melbourne Rebels rugby player has certainly done his best, and has now started dating the stunning Miss Australia - Jesinta Campbell.

The 23-year-old sportsman was seen leaving the EVE nightclub in Melbourne hand-in-hand with 19-year-old beauty Jesinta after apparently enjoying a passionate embrace with the model during his evening out.

And Jesinta, who bears more than a passing resemblance to Kelly, is said to be smitten with Cipriani, after first meeting the rugby player several months ago.

She is quoted by the News of the World as saying: 'We went on a date, I'm still in contact with him so we will wait and see what happens.'

Cipriani is also said to be pleased with how the relationship is going, and is hopeful about the pair's future.

A source told the newspaper: 'Danny has fallen for Jesinta's down-to-earth, Aussie beach girl charm as well as her stunning body and good looks.

'It's early days for the pair of them but they couldn't be happier.'

In January it emerged that Cipriani had been warned to tone down his playboy image by his new bosses at Melbourne Rebels.

The sportsman has become a regular on the Australian social scene since touching down last year, and has already enjoyed flings with former Neighbours star Stephanie McIntosh and local pop singer Tamara Jaber.

Rod Macqueen, the former Wallabies coach, explained that it is not easy to contain Cipriani's celebrity profile.

He said at the time: 'One of our pledges is “We are not me”, let’s put the team first and that’s hard when you’ve got someone with a profile like Danny.’

'He has obviously got a high profile and that’s difficult when you come from overseas and you’re in a team environment.

‘It’s not ideally what we want. The reality is that he is here to play rugby. That’s what he wants to do and the more distractions he gets the more it takes away from his game.

'The reality is that he lives a lifestyle around rugby and the majority of his life is rugby, but he does take a girl out from time to time and we don’t see that as a problem.'

Danny has remained friends with Kelly, now pregnant and in a relationship with his former teammate Thom Evans, and the pair holidayed together in the Maldives over Christmas.
